2023 Turkey Hunts
Of all the species hunted in the Mississippi Delta, turkeys are the ones most adversely affected by spring flooding.
The timing and duration of any flood play a significant part in the rate of annual eastern wild turkey nesting success.
Due to the current and forecasted level of the MS river, Tara Wildlife has cancelled the scheduled turkey hunts for 2023.

Meals and Lodging
You’ll find the perfect accommodations at Tara Wildlife for your stay. We have cabins for rent as well as comfortable rooms in Tara Lodge. We can accommodate up to 15 hunters at a time. Our 3 daily meals are traditional Southern favorites.
